When Should a Patient Consider Our Programs?
A patient should consider attending our program:
- When you feel your quality of life and emotional well being are being affected by your breathing
- When you feel that your condition is getting worse
- When you have limited knowledge of your disease
- When you don't feel that you have adequate self-help strategies to cope with your breathing
- If you would like to look at natural solutions to regain a level of control back in managing your symptoms and improving your health
- If you are an athlete who wants to breathe correctly to ensure optimum performance and recovery
Please note ... patients who attend our Breathing Retraining and Pulmonary Rehab/Strengthening programs may show no improvement in lung function (FEV) scores, however Pulmonary rehabilitation is a cost-effective means of delivering improved outcomes for patients with breathing dysfunction and COPD (reducing the number of patient hospital days and improving quality of life).
